The 70ft wide by 45ft high mural connects to the biotech company's focus by incorporating DNA and organic forms, all rendered in the company's colors. This striking piece visually represents MBC Biolabs' mission and enhances the aesthetic appeal of their headquarters, fostering a sense of innovation and connection within the space.

Two custom murals for a multi-family building in San Francisco's design district, framing the front entrance with vibrant and welcoming artwork. The client requested warm colors and an organic feel to contrast the dark colors and straight lines predominant in the neighborhood. Strider used flowing lines, circular geometry, and a palette of oranges and reds to create an inviting and impactful entrance, enhancing the building's aesthetic and contributing to the neighborhood's visual appeal.

Mountain View, CA 2020
Strider Patton created a series of three mixed media murals for Coursera's offices in Mountain View, CA. Two of these murals featured dimensional 3D wood panels backlit with sound-reactive LED lighting, which responded to ambient sounds to create interactive lighting effects. This innovative design invited observer participation and added a dynamic, engaging element to the workspace.

Strider Patton was commissioned by the city of Mt. Vernon, Iowa, to create a mural titled "Hands that Build." This mural pays homage to the town's architectural and working-class history. Managed an international youth mural project in partnership with the nonprofit organization Shine in Otres, Cambodia. This project involved over 180 local children and focused on creating a vibrant mural that transformed a rural school, fostering creativity and community engagement among the participants.

Directed a year-long youth mural project in the Potrero Hill neighborhood of San Francisco, in collaboration with local nonprofits, the San Francisco Planning Department, and a youth organization. The project culminated in a weekend event, featuring a community paint day that engaged residents and fostered a sense of unity and pride.
Mt. Vernon, IA 2017
Over the course of three years, I initiated, fundraised, facilitated, and completed a youth-led community mural project in my hometown of Mt. Vernon, Iowa. In May 2017, the 2,500 sqft mural (240 ft wide x 11 ft high) was completed with the direct help of 400 local kids and 100 community members, transforming a public space into a vibrant hub of community pride and artistic expression.

During her residency at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), I assisted artist Taraneh Hemami with research for “Theory of Survival: Fabrications.” This exhibition and publication project aimed to make visible the intentionally erased histories of dissent in Iran.
